Lille ZooLille zoo is one of the most visited places in Lille. It is Lille’s biggest park and also the most famous one. Every year millions of visitors visit this zoo. There is no-entry fee here, which makes it the best Freebie of the beautiful city. It is located in the grounds of the Vauban's impressive Citadelle. The Zoo timings are different in summers and winters. In summers from Monday to Friday the timings are 9am to 6am whereas on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it is 9am to 7pm. In winters the timings are 10am to 5pm daily. It houses about 400 animals of 80 different species like monkeys, zebras, panthers and also some rare birds.If you are visiting Lille with kids, this place is surely a must visit. In addition the Cub Corner, located next to the zoo, is a fun fair for kids. It s daily timings are 2:00 pm to 7 pm.
